Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that he is focusing on highlighting the government's various welfare schemes and development projects rather than engaging in rebuttals against the opposition. In response to a question about Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's criticism of the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai to understand the basis of the statement. At a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, he emphasized the government's commitment to comprehensive development for all communities and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming assembly elections. Pawar affirmed that his party upholds its secular values based on the principles of prominent figures such as Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He highlighted initiatives like the "Jan Sanman Yatra" to raise awareness about government schemes, including the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana providing financial assistance to hardworking women. Additionally, Pawar discussed policies such as free education for girls, electricity bill waivers for farmers, Re 1 crop insurance, and subsidies for milk producers and local leaders. He stressed that if the Mahayuti receives support in the upcoming elections, all these initiatives will be maintained for the next five years. "I humbly ask for your blessings and firm support for Mahayuti in this election," he stated.
